New York Restaurant Serves Alzheimer’s-Preventing Food

A restaurateur from Hollywood, Florida has decided to mix fine dining with brain health in a bid to teach diners more about using food to improve overall wellness and to prevent dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. This isn’t as surprising when you learn he’s also a practicing neurologist.

Dr. Alon Seifan is part-owner of New York City restaurant Honeybrains, which claims to serve “mindfully chosen ingredients” served in a “stimulating and stress-free environment.”

In addition to ensuring all their dishes contain ingredients vital for brain and general health, the restaurant also sells a wide range of raw honey–which has well-known healing properties.

Honeybrains is offering free tasting evenings and talks on Thursdays which are being hosted by experts in wellness, with Seifan hosting the first one.  Read more on this story in the New York Post.
