Pat Summitt The basketball coach lead the Tennessee Lady Vols to an impressive eight NCAA championships and over the course of her coaching career and secured 1,098 wins. In 2011, Summitt retired from coaching at the age of 59 when she was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease and became an advocate for the disease.
