David Cassidy Reveals Battle With Dementia
Actor and musician David Cassidy has revealed he’s battling dementia. Cassidy told People magazine that dementia runs in his family and that both his mother and his grandfather suffered from the disease.
The 66-year-old, most famous for his role as Keith Partridge in the 1970s TV show The Partridge Family, has made the decision to stop touring to concentrate on his health. He has been suffering from memory loss and at a recent show forgot the lyrics to some of the songs he’s been performing for the past five decades.
The star admits that he was in denial for a long time, but has now come to terms with the disease and is focusing on his health and happiness moving forward.
