  1. My mom is 106 and started having symptoms of dementia about 2 years ago. Is there anything i can do to reduce the progression of this disease ? I know….106 ! However, at 95 she could still walk well and had almost no signs of cognitive decline. Sadly, she is uber-old now, but has a strong heart, good kidney function, no diabetes and can live to 110 ! However, if she becomes unaware of her surroundings and loved ones, what good is it ?
